Concrete planters handmade to last in Los Angeles.
We’ve created a concrete recipe for strength, uv stabilization, and durability. Our planters are colored with pigment throughout, rather than a stain on the surface. We coat the interior with a waterproof barrier and seal the exterior for abrasion and stain resistance.
Our pots are made by hand - slight variations make each one unique.
Macetala started as a daydream about the perfect plant pot. A playful and simple shape that would catch the light and create interesting shadows.
It became reality when we lost our jobs in early 2020 and finally had time to experiment with our ideas. After many protoypes and modifications, we received so many requests for planters we decided to launch our pot shop. Please check back for new color combinations and more designs.
